TRACK SPECIALISATIONS

General Management

This track addresses vital business functions such as corporate finance, human resources strategy, valuation of businesses, mergers and acquisitions, and more. Participants will attend classes in two of the most prestigious U.S. universities: The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania and University of California, Berkeley.

Aviation & Air Transport

A product borne from the alliance between International Air Transport Association (IATA) in Switzerland and Nanyang Business School, this track is designed to help accomplished aviation professionals become even more effective in their field. Participants will be equipped with the tools to overcome hot-bed industry issues, namely aviation law, airport strategic management, and aviation safety and security.

Hospitality Management

Designed for senior professionals in the hospitality industry, this track, provided by Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration and Nanyang Business School, helps participants capitalise on untapped market opportunities and their organisations' unique strengths. Participants examine pertinent industry issues such as hotel investment, financial strategy and hotel revenue management.

PROJECT (LiNC)

Taking a step outside the classroom, participants undergo a 9-month long group project, collaborating with companies and taking on the role of a consultant to assist their sponsors in resolving industry relevant issues.

    Olexander Chernyshenko

    Academic Director, Nanyang EMBA

    Assoc Prof Chernyshenko received his PhD in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. Prior to joining NBS, he was Lecturer and then Senior Lecturer of Psychology at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He has published in many international journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Organisational Behavior & Human Decision Processes, Psychological Assessment, and others.

    Vijay Sethi

    Dr Sethi was the winner of the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Business Professor Of The Year in 2013. He has held a number of leadership positions in the school; including Director, International Business Competitors Coordinator, India Strategy and Dean.He is published in the top IT journals and internationally recognised for his research.

    After joining the NBS Banking and Finance Department in 2009, Dr Siri went on to serve as the Director of Banking and Finance (B.Bus) from 2010 to 2014. She teaches international finance, corporate finance, and economics in the Executive MBA, Nanyang MBA, Nanyang Fellow MBA, Masters in Financial Engineering and the undergraduate programmes. Dr. Siri’s has over 30 years of experiences as a high-level executive, a business consultant and an academic.
