The Berkeley-Nanyang Advanced Management Programme (BNAMP) is a 4-week programme, consisting of a pair of 2-week segments, that prepares senior managers to effectively lead in the increasingly competitive global market. A partnership between Nanyang Business School and UC Berkeley, the BNAMP is the opportunity for ambitious professionals to upgrade their skills with new business developments and perspectives.

In 4 rigorous weeks, participants enhance their knowledge about innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership and corporate strategy, equipping themselves with business leadership skills that give them a head start in the ever-evolving world.

STRUCTURE

MODULES FOR ACADEMIC YEAR 2017 - 2018

Participants spend 2 weeks in the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley and another 2 weeks in Nanyang Business School, NTU Singapore, where they'll take on the following key issues:

This course guides participants in developing an intelligence for applying frameworks, principles and tools in strategy development and execution.




ASIAN LEADERSHIP

This module seeks to examine leadership from key Asian perspectives and to reveal the intricacies of Asian leadership both in theory and practice.

LEADERSHIP ACCELERATOR

A 5-day module that focuses on individuals' leadership styles and equips participants with practical handles to optimise their leadership potential.




INNOVATION AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP

Innovation management models used by large firms will be uncovered in this segment as participants learn about the processes, systems, tools and techniques required to successfully manage innovation.

Credits may be brought over from the BNAMP to the Nanyang EMBA programme.

    Fellow, Renaissance Engineering Programme
    Division of Information Technology and Operations Management


    Dr Sethi was the winner of the Economist Intelligence Unit’s Business Professor Of The Year in 2013. He has held a number of leadership positions in the school; including Director, International Business Competitors Coordinator, India Strategy and Dean.He is published in the top IT journals and internationally recognised for his research.

    Before entering academia, Prof Gibbons worked in a number of financial and corporate strategy roles with KPMG, the Jefferson Smurfit Group, An Post (The Irish Postal Service) and The Investment Bank of Ireland. His research, teaching and consulting interests are in the areas of Strategic Management, Leadership Development, Competitive Intelligence and Organisational Change.

    Wee Chow Hou

    Head, Division of Marketing and International Business

    Professor Wee was a former Merit, Colombo Plan and Commonwealth Scholar, and winner of the Academy of Marketing Science (USA) 1984 PhD paper Award and the 1985 Doctoral Dissertation Award. One of his co-authored cases also won the 1999 Best Case Award in the Administrative Sciences Association of Canada. He is currently a member of the editorial board of the Thunderbird International Business Review (USA), Global business and Organisational Excellence (USA), China Business Review (China) and Journal of Management (Taiwan). As a member who sits on several boards of publicly listed companies in Singapore, he is regularly invited to speak at international conferences.
